Is there a charge?
Depending on the venue there may be a discounted entry fee which would be stated on the face of your ticket. If there is no charge your ticket would say COMPED, if there is a charge your ticket would say $5 fee due at door etc.
Are there any drink minimums?
All events at the Improv and Funny Bone comedy club locations have a 2 "item" food or drink minimum. Check with the venue to get there specific policy.
Why do I have to arrive 30-45 min early?
Early arrival is for seating and ordering food. Our shows are often sold out and it takes time seat hundreds of audience members.
Will the comedy be offensive?
We cater to office friendly comedy and book only the highest level comedians, you will not hear any "blue" material.
What time do I arrive?
Arrive no later than 30 minutes earlier to be seated. After showtime, seating is at the managers discretion.
How long is the show?
90 minutes exactly so don't be late!
I can't make it, can I use my ticket to another show?
No. We only do shows twice a year in most cities and they are non transferable tickets.
Do I have to sit at the seat number on my ticket?
No. Seating is on a first come first serve basis.
Do we offer other tickets to other events besides stand up comedy?
Yes. We produce and promote shows in various genre's including: comedy, magic and "cirque" performances. To inquire, please use the question form below.
Last time I saw a famous comedian, how do I know when they will be back?
We do not advertise when celebrity comedians are booked at their request or we would be able to charge much much higher!
I want to become a comedian! How do I go about that?
We have new comics showcases at the Comedy Store in Hollywood. Emails us for details. Just remember, if it was easy, everyone would do it.
